Featuring one of my main characters, a warrior, named Torrin, and his black warhorse,
this fantasy art print is a reproduction of an original oil painting.
I wanted this painting to capture the trust and often deep relationship that a knight has with his mount. Battle-trained and as much a comrade in arms as any other warrior, the big black horse is tuned to his rider, protecting him in battle. The original painting for this print, was completed with oil on canvas in an impressionistic style. The rich red of the warrior's cloak contrasts with the slate-gray background and the ebony coat of the stallion.
