Graphite powder is tapped onto the page, and a soft brush swirls the dark shadow over the paper, rubbing it in so it creates a deeper sense of chiaroscuro, a deeper feeling of gravitas.

My inspiration appears to be in overdrive. I have experienced this many times, a feverish plunge into maximum creative output, where you can’t put the work away, can’t stop thinking about it, can’t stop re-working it.
