Only a week away!!! Come see me at @southokanaganrenaissancefair next Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm in Gyro Park Penticton.

I will have Book One my illustrated fantasy book series, prints, postcard and even a few original paintings and bronze sculptures! I will be live sculpting during the day so be sure to come by to say hello. The farmers market will be right next to the park so there will be lots to see and do.

This beautiful cafe houses a selection of artwork from local artists curated and managed by @auroramathesonfineartgallery. We will be hosting a Book Two launch event here in July during the live Kickstarter campaign with pre-orders for the second book available through the campaign… all backers will get their names publish in the acknowledgements of the book! It has taken a while for me to test materials that work well with the end papers of my books for these Kickstarter Elite Collector’s Remarques. In the end, I have settled on creating two original acrylic paintings: one for the front of the book, and one at the back. I also found some perfect gold paint which brings in a beautiful illuminated manuscript vibe.✨

I will be at the Kelowna Indigo Bookstore today at Orchard Park mall ( April 12th from 11 am to 4 pm) signing copies of my illustrated fantasy novel. Had a lot of fun creating these page spreads for the new edition of The Companion Sketchbook for my website. After revising and releasing a new hardcover second edition of Book One which includes a host of new illustrations, I wanted to update the Companion Sketchbook to showcase the new images. The sketchbook is 105 pages long, full colour, full page bleed to share concept art and sketches for the world-building along with author notes and some excerpts from the book.

I have been spending quiet hours in the studio over the last few days, signing books, packaging them with care and organizing the fulfillment of the Kickstarter rewards. First shipments go out this coming week!!!
